The Pro Church Tools Show with Brady Shearer

There’s a new type of social media post for churches that’s huge right now. It garners a ton of likes and comments, but it’s also great for earning extended watch-time. Why is that important? You’ll learn the answer to that question in this video. Not only that, but I’ll share with you nine examples of this post template and give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we constructed each of them.

If you’re a church, you should be using social media for so much more than just promoting events and services. In fact, your church should approach social as you would any other ministry like small groups or missions. And one way you can use social to help those connected to your church online grow in their faith, is to provoke the spiritual practice of Bible reading. How? Well, there’s actually a framework for this I call The Bible Reading template. And in this video, you’ll learn exactly what that is - and I’ll show you a handful of real examples of what it looks like.

Every sub-culture has its own language and sayings - and our churches are not immune to this. However, when you’ve spent as much time in churches as I have (delivering announcements, reviewing websites, visiting services, etc.) you begin to notice certain sayings that are awkward or could at the very least use improvement. And so in this video, I want to share with you a few church sayings I don’t care for along with better options you can swap in instead.

Every week I receive messages from church leaders asking, “Brady, what can we do to increase our church’s attendance?” The problem? On their own, church attendance numbers are effectively meaningless. Now, if you’re skeptical of that statement - I totally get it. And so in this video, I’ll share with you three reasons that back up that claim - along with a new paradigm for accurately measuring and evaluating your church’s growth and health.

I was scrolling through my Facebook feed the other day when I saw a post from a friend of mine that asked a simple question. It said, “What are the issues you wish the church was NOT silent on?” And to my surprise the thread had close to 200 responses - mostly from younger people. So I read through the entire thread and identified the five most popular responses given. And in this video, I’ll reveal what those issues are - five issues the church must stop ignoring.

In this video, you’re going to learn a proven formula for creating an engaging church welcome video. For example, a smaller church in Arizona is using this strategy and they’ve been able to reach groups of people they never were able to reach before they created this welcome video.
